**Note the PBGPA Rockhounds Social is the evening of Aug 15.  If you would like to attend both the Training and the Social, you must register for each event separately**

Risk Management and Insurance

The August training will focus on risk management and insurance issues impacting the natural gas industry. We will start with basics of master service and processing agreements (to help explain why they always come back with so much red ink from the legal review). The goal is to help educate attendees on what critical provisions mean and how they impact your bottom line. We will then go through the basics of insurance coverages available and how to ensure the risks allocated in your contracts will actually be covered by insurance in the event of a loss. Finally, we will end the day with information from the insurance/legal perspective that will make responding to a loss more efficient, less expensive, and more likely to be paid by insurers.

This training will be a workshop format.  There will be mix of presentation, group activity, and interactive discussion with students.  Realistic scenarios will be used to maximize
