The fall 2017 PBGPA training will be held Nov 17, 2017 and cover Glycol Dehydration. This course, geared toward commissioning, operation, and maintenance, will cover the following topics:
PURPOSE OF DEHYDRATION UNITS - "Why Dehydrate?"
CARE OF GLYCOL
The course includes use of a demonstration Dehy Unit. The unit allows a live demonstration of a glycol dehydration unit including internals. This reinforces the classroom course material and is a unique aspect of this course.
This course is being hosted at the Petroleum Museum in Midland, TX. During breaks, students will have access to the Petroleum Museum exhibits and facilities.
Instructor: The instructore for this course is Terry Nelson, Driector of Technical Services for Waukesha-Pearce Industries. Terry has extensive experience in commissioning and maintenance of dehydration systems, and has presented this training course in numerous shale plays including the Permian area.
